West Asia has a special geopolitical and geoeconomic position for the great powers, so that most regional and trans-regional powers are trying to expand their political and economic influence in this region. India, as one of these emerging Asian powers, has focused more on energy regions and areas after Narendra Modi came to power because India, as one of the largest energy importers, has always needed a continuous supply of affordable crude oil and gas to maintain and stabilize its economy. Therefore, it is trying to protect oil reserves and prosperity in the transportation of fuel tankers with a military presence in the region. Therefore, the present study seeks to answer the question: What role and position does India have in the regional developments in West Asia? And what political and economic tools does India's foreign policy use to influence this region? In response to this question, it can be hypothesized that India's presence in West Asia, on the one hand, meets the country's need for oil and gas to develop its domestic industry, and on the other hand, improving trade relations with wealthy West Asian countries can provide a suitable consumer market for its products. Its military and security position can be another influential factor;so that security cooperation, including the sale of weapons to these countries and the holding of joint military maneuvers in recent years, indicate the country's important role in this area. In this study, the documentary method was used tocollect data andthe descriptive-analytical method was used toanalyze information
